The stream beside the villa has clear and pure water running through, and here you can, engage in river tracing, pick tortoise stone, and catch river shrimps. The owner has worked in the education field for 30 years; after retirement, he has been fully immersed in working on the villa, planning nature trails, setting up and running audio and visual classrooms and a dining center, and forming a villa of culture and art.

From Taipei, take a train or bus to Taichung station. There, take a Chuansing bus headed to Puli and Sun Moon Lake, and get off at Beishankeng bus stop. The hostel provides a pick-up service (by prior arrangement).
